    please, I need directshow codec in my virtualdub!
    how do ?

    developers of the virtualdub, implement directshow codec in virtualdub, ok.

    Download directshow and drop it into the virtualdub templates folder, i think. Don't flame me if i'm wrong.

    I think you'd better off just downloading and using virtualdubmod.

    Yep. At the bottom of the open file screen choose "use avisynth template direct show source"

    That's fine for a dshow decoder. They said codec though so perhaps they want to encode not just decode?

    As I understand it Avery Lee doesn't like dshow and therefor won't be releasing a dshow version of VDub.

    You could try Graphedit instead.
