Firstly apologies if this has been asked previously.

I have looked, but as i am uinsure what i am looking for, or how to most sucessfulkly word the search criteria, i havent found anything helpful.

A friend of mine has given me two home grown dvd's of his daughters wedding.

He would like me to create a single DVD with only one track.

One the track he would like the first part of one DVD, then about the first 80% of the second DVD and then the last part of the first DVD.
    (hope this is making sense)

Please have you any sane easy suggestions of how i go about it.

I could convert both to AVI, clip'n'trim, re-join as required and then re-encode to DVD format, but i'm gueessing there must be an easier way.

PS. the original discs have no kind of chapters or anything, the places i want to split them relate to nothing except a timecode.

    thanks v much in advance.

edit with videoredo. it can import dvd vobs directly.
    reauthor with any authoring tool.

you can also edit with tmpgenc dvd author, add dvd video and add both dvds.

  4. If there are menus on original DVDs then DvdReMake Pro can be a better option if you want to preserve menus.

    thank you

but thankfully he just wants a single track and is completely unbothered by menus!
