  1. I just bought Epson R200 for $79.99 CAD after rebate and my questions about printable dvds are as follows:

    1. Which comes first, burning or printing.
    2. How many hours does it take for the ink to dry up.
    3. What printable dvds do you recommend. I prefer hub printables.

    Thanks.

  2. 1. Burn first, verify you have a good disc, then print.
    2. Depends on how much ink per disc you use. Colorful graphics take more ink.
    3. Taiyo Yuden are considered the best by most people.

    1. Burning. No point wasting ink if it then turns out to be a coaster

    2. Hours ? It should be touch-dry in a matter of seconds or minutes after printing.

    3. I use RITEK G05s.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. ... if you print before writing to the disc, you run the risk of marking the recording side (or introducing dust, fingerprints, ink residue etc) that can interfere with the recording process. Always write to the disc first for that reason if nothing else !
