Hi!
I just discovered the wonderful world of Proshow Gold :P!
I have it totally under control, but I'm still asking myself if the quality couldn't be better?
So, via Google, I found this site. I searched on the forum and found several information. The best quality could be obtained with Tempgenc? Is that correct?
Well, I'm searching for some information about configuring Proshow Gold to achieve the best quality. Is it better using MPEG2?
Tia!

I have never used Proshow Gold, but have used other slideshow software. Still pictures will never look very good, when converted to a video format, like VCD, or DVD. MPEG compression was never really designed for showing still pictures.
If you want to show the pictures on TV, get a DVD player that plays JPG files. I use Panasonic DVD-S47 player and also bought one for my parents at home. It will show JPG pictures that are stored on CD. It will also play MP3 files at the same time. -
Thnx! I didn't know that. So it's pretty normal that the pics lose a little bit of qualityOriginally Posted by Wile_E
Well, it's good if you show the pics at your own home. But, for example, you go to your best friend, to show him the pictures. Your friend might have a DVD player that hasn't a support for JPG files...Originally Posted by Wile_E
