    hi
    so I want to take some videos that are "3ivx"
    heres alls I knows about them (specs)

    490Kbps -Nero Digital MPEG-4 ASP (Advanced Simple Profile)
    48Kbps - Nero HE-AAC (Advanced Audio Codec)
    .
    wont load into TMPGEnc. seems to just... freeze up or something.

    so. how me do?

    If you can play it back via dshow then TMPGEnc should be able to open it via dshow to.

    For avi, you can just remux, however for better compatiblity you would want to convert the audio if it is aac.

    i can change the movie from mpeg 4 to avi but theres no sound

    Try installing an AAC codec/filter..3IVX is only used for the video, try

    Actually 3ivX also includes a decoder, however I think it is a limited trial.

    Also I did a compile of coreaac with updated faad:

    How did you remux to avi though? Because more likely the audio simply wasn't muxed. AVIMuxGUI I think is still the only app that supports aac to avi muxing.
