I was looking to play some online texas hold em, but I see that partypoker.com wants you to download their little proggy. I was wondering if its filled with spyware and adware. I really don't want to mess up my machine.

The URL of that site makes it sound like it is full of spyware. I wouldn't risk it, it isn't worth it.
This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours. -
That website is full of spyware. Last month I had to clean out a cousins pc that was so snail slow in starting up. Her hubby plays online poker all the time. I ran AD-AWARE SE and found 420 spyware and also found 2 trojan virus with AVG antivirus software. I installed MOZILLA for them to use but I have no clue if using that browser would help eliminate spyware from partypoker.com or any other online poker site. Just my 2 cents!!!Originally Posted by tsantsa

Thanks...It just looked like it would be full of that crap...I usually watch that World Poker Tour on the travel channel and that one of the online poker sites that is advertised there. I know a couple of people that play it, but then they don't care what they put on their computer...
