Help!
For whatever reason, my video capture devices are no longer recognized by WinXP. This includes my USB webcam and my VCR plugged into my ti4200 video card's composite input.
I have no idea why this has suddenly happened - I've been running this system for years without a problem.
I've re-installed the Nvidia display drivers, DirectX, and the WDM drivers.
None of my video/editing software will see the devices including WinXP MovieMaker which crashes when I click Capture videos.
The only thing that can actually show my webcam, oddly enough, is MSN Messenger's Tuning Wizard. But even MSN Messenger's "Webcam Settings" menu brings up an error message saying something about the camera is being used by another program or not plugged in.
Any suggestions would be appreciated... I'm out of ideas...
