  1. I followed quick start guide absolutely perfectly i've searched forums. I connected the composite cable to my TV and the screen on the ConvertX is black. WTF it should have what i have on my TV this is stupid.

  2. its like the device list should list my vcr but it doesnt wtf. My VCR is plugged into the convertx by the yellow cable. This Plextor ConvertX sucks shit. Why isnt it working? Ahhhhhhhh!!!

    Make sure that convertx is not listening to the svideo input.

  5. Thats one of the first things i tried and its not listening to the s-video port. Please try something else coz i have to move the laptop back soon i really want to get it working!!!

  7. What do you mean, you connected it to your TV? Most TV's don't have a tuner output, only inputs. If you want to capture something, you have to feed a signal to the convertx, usually the output of a VCR will do.

  8. No when did i say that? I connected it to my VCR not my TV i said that. I put the composite cable into the only place in my VCR where it fit.

    How come no one knows anything is this problem that complex that no one can actually find a ssolution?
