My brother sent me a DVD of home movie stuff. I was going to reauthor it because I didn't care for the way the Chapters fell but he had a really cool menu and menu structure. I wanted to know if there was a way to move the Chapters without recreating the whole thing. Let me explain a little further, he has various buttons that go to various clips but they always don't land at the beginning of the clip. I wanted to move it so that when you click the same button that it takes you to a different spot. Can I edit the IFO file or something? Am I totally screwed and havta rip the disc and reauthor from scratch?

  2. You can do it in almost no time with DvdReMake Pro. Take a look at this: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_insert_chapter.php
The guide does not do exactly what you need, but you can use same approach.

Generally, chapters are restricted to I-frames. Depending on how the original encoding was done, you may not have I-frames in the correct place, which is why the chapters aren't where they should be.

Does DVD Remake Pro allow for offsets from the I frames ?
