HI,
I'm embarking on my first replication of a DVD I have produced. The company I am dealing with needs the DVD on DLT tapes. Not knowing anything about DLT machines, I was wondering if someone could help me out when it comes to buying one. I'll probably buy one from ebay, so it'll be second hand. However, they don't seem to come with cables, and having never dealt with them before , am not really sure what I'd need in order to plug something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3756&item=5221740069&rd=1 into my current set up.
I also have questions about the information I must store one there. I'm replicating to DVD-9 and I am under the impression that I create an image onto a dlt40Gb tape or something. However, the replication company said 2 dlt's to get the best quality, which kind of confused me.
Any experience in this area would be appreciated. I don't really know what I'm doing..lol
