get a gmail account, its anti spam is great and youc an check it with any pop client.

Other then that, I gots no clue.

Your ISP wiil usually have a page where you can configure your emial filters. For example earthlink had a filter for bouncing all e-mails from outside of the US. Checking this eliminated most of the spam when I was using it.

I just use the word filters within OE, just keep adding them. There's only so many ways you can spell viagara.

FYI, these word filters are stored in the registry. If you do a search you'll find some info on how to export/import them into OE using regedit, OE itself doesn't support this. I'd imagine if you looked hard enough you'd be able to find a pre-made registry entry with the most blatant words to filter that you could use.

try typing +freeware +spam +filters into google. You will be surprised how many there are.
