    i just reinstalled windows xp, but i cant access the "desktop" of my old windows folder.



    that was my previous windows xp installation, and all of my stuff are in there, but i get that error, i cant even delete it, how do i get access to it so i could move it to my "new" desktop?

    old desktop:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel.DEH707-WL3F5LQ4\Desktop

    new desktop:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel.D-70XMP9MY72L2P\Desktop

    Have you tried right clicking the folder and unchecking the read-only and archive options and then delete it.
