DVD shrink copy protected error!

Hi, i really looked over for this problem but i couldn't find a solution

i used to have a lite on DVD writer and LG dvd writer, i've been copying movies for me and everything works fine, i can backup any movie i bring with my lite on.

finally i gave the lite on to my cousin and i bought Sony DRU-800A.

everything works fine with the normal copies, but yesterday i brought original copy i think it was region 1, and when i wanted to make a backup using shrink at the first its not analyzing the dvd its just giving me error copy protection error; i also tried to do a normal copy & paste and i couldn't copy anything, i tried Raxio EMC7, nothing.....
note that the dvd is playable just fine on dvd drive also
note that when i tried the lite on again it worked and i could make the backup...
note that it happened in may original dvds.

can any one help me

is there a software or a guide so that its possible for these drives to make these backups.

Use DVD DECRYPTER to rip in FILE MODE then use DVD SHRINK to compress then use whatever burner software to burn to dvd. You could even have DVD SHRINK to make a ISO IMAGE instead of video_ts folder that way you can burn the ISO IMAGE with DVD DECRYPTER.

well...dvd decrypter is discontinued now, so any newer copy-protections created from now on, means dvd's may not be able to be decrypted with it, so as advised by waheed, use that program, or u cud try AnyDVD!!!
