  1. I have a 74 mb .wmv file that I want to change to .mpg so I can make it a vcd. I have TMPGEnc but after just 1% it freezes. Is the file to big? Is there any other program I could use to change it? Please HELP!

    Thanx

  2. Change file extension to .asf. Extract wav using dBpowerwAMP. Use video source as ***.asf and audio source as ***.wav in TMPGenc. Encode to ***.mpg as per normal.

Hmmmm. I spend several weeks do this to the last episode of Startrek Voyager. Using this method I usually ended up with a VCD file that had lip since problems after about 10 minutes. In the finish i gave up. But let us know how you get on..
