Hi all
Does Nero recognise VRO files?
I'm about to purchase a one of 2 DVD recorders:
Panasonic E55 or E85H.
If Nero can read these files than anything recorded onto RAM discs can then be edited on my PC using NERO. If not then I might have to get the E85H and do the editing via the hard disk. The E55 will be the cheaper option though (got Sky+ so another HDD not really necessary)
Thanks for you help.

VRO files are basically mpeg files (you can copy it to your PC and rename the extension to .mpg and it'll play in any media player that supports mpeg 2), so if Nero has any trouble with it, renaming it should work (I don't use Nero to encode or author, just to burn).
The main thing to take into consideration is whether or not your DVD burner supports DVD-RAM discs. If it doesn't, you're not gonna be able to get the .vro files onto your computer.
