    I have an MPEG1 file. Somewhere in the middle of the movie, there are about 2 minutes worth of video where it just stalls. I figure the movie will still make sense if I remove the 2 minutes, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

    Is it possible to edit out a segment in the middle of an MPEG1 file and then join the two pieces back together without the 2 minutes in-between?
