    i have a few files in a format called vivo ae there any conversion tools to change them to editable media?

    they are owned by REAL now ..

    microsoft netshow also can play these if you install it

    thank you for your prompt reply perhaps however i didnt make the question clear i can actually play the files with vivo player but that has little or no facilities and i'd like to convert the format to rm or wmv or whatever so i would then be able to edit them.

    yes - install the codec above and you should be able to convert them in various conversion programs

    thats agreat picture bj my former boss was a brian joseph murphy bjm for short i am joseph brian so we hit it off relly well
    i d'loaded the codec it instructed me to unzip it and put unzipped file into windows "system 32" i unziped it and did so but i notice no difference perhaps i have to reboot the computor? thanks for all your help

    reboot - yes ,, but you might have to reg it also

    if you dont have reg option in right click (i do) , in

    start- > run -> regsvr32 "<path>\NameOfFile.extension

  8. The file is an .acm and will not register this way!
    A simple restart should be all that's needed.
