    Hi,

I'm new to this, and have tried different things that I've read here, but I"m having trouble figuring out how to burn this file so I can watch it.

It was downloaded as a "kvcd" which I'm not familiar with. There is a .bin and a .cue file. I'd like to burn onto either DVD or CD so that I can watch on my DVD player.

I have Nero Express 6.something, DVD Decrypter, Roxio Easy CD Creator, DVD Shrink, VSO DVIX to DVD and have tried several different combinations.

I just tried using Nero to "File->Burn Image and select the CUE (you can only burn BIN/CUE on CDR/W)" that I found on this fourm but it wouldn't work either (unless I did it wrong).

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve

  2. run the bin thru vcdgear and extract the mpg (kvcd) from it. chances are tho ull have to reauthor it to dvd compliancy before you can burn it as dvd video

  3. Load the cue file with DaemonTools and play your file with PowerDVD (select the drive added by DaemonTools).

You try to burn it on a cdr or a dvdr ??

Open nero startsmart and select make a new dvd or make a vcd and then click on the file you want to burn,i think you will just have to select the cue file and nero should do the rest. As it is kvcd i think it would be best to burn to a cd (kvcd is already encoded for cd) rather than have to recode it for dvd and lose quality.I have only burned one kvcd movie and for that i used alcohol 120% which took about 10 mins to burn to cd.

I tried it first with DVD Decrypter on DVD and the DVD player wouldn't recognize the disc. I then had my wife (while I was giving instructions over the phone) try to use Nero to put it on CD.

I'll try a couple of these suggestions tonight.

    Thanks.
