  1. Situation:

I have a Pioneer 220 that I use to record movies from Dish Network onto a Rewritable. I then take the -rw and use Dvd Shrink to copy over to a +r.

    The problem:

When I use Maxell -rw (media code OPTODISCW002) I get this error:
Copy Protection Error - The given sector doesn't have a valid CSS key

This only happens with the Maxells. I also have some Memorex -rws that this does not give me this error. Any suggestions? Other than "don't use maxells"?

  3. Its not a matter of burning. I get the error during the initial analysis. If I use CloneDVD and save to hard drive, I can then use shrink. I was curious if anyone else had encountered this.
