  1. Hi all

I have got an interesting question which has been bugging me for a while now.

Quite simply, what are the differences between a Retail bought DVD and one you make yourself? Ok, I actually know the answer to that, the main is WHY?

What are retail DVD's classed as? + or - or neither?
How come retail DVD's are compatible with all DVD players yet + & - aren't?
Can you buy these 'Retail' DVD's?
Is it from the way they are burnt, or is it the actual disc as well?

    You get the idea

    Thanks

    Hong

Retail DVD is actaully what you refer to as commercial DVDS. They are not burned, but Pressed. + and - does not apply here.
