I have a bundle of avi files which I would like to put on a dvd. I would like to know if it is possible to put a bunch of avi movies on a dvd at svcd quality or better. It would be nice and handy not to have to put each AVI on a vcd.
I'm real new at this stuff, but I pick things up real quick,
    pls give me some feedback,
    thx

Yes it is possible, but the quality depends on the quality of your source. Converting any old file to DVD doesn't automagically make it DVD quality, after all.

http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm , or any number of the guides here, and/or either any number of the tools here and here, or alternatively, here should be able to help you out.

    If in doubt, Google it.

DivxtoDVD - just select as many avi files as you like. As Jimmalenko says, though, quality is dependent on the source. It also also dependent on the total run time of the combined avis, as this effects bitrate.
