    I recorded my hi8 stuff with a 2 head camera. Is the transfer to my computer going to be any better with a 4 head deck? Or, since it was only recorded with 2 heads, no difference?

    Should make no difference and four-head systems just offer better performance at slower tape speeds that all but it should keep more solid picture.
