    A week ago, my cable internet went down when the neighbors sprinklers go the widget box outside wet and blew it out. At any rate, needless to say, that puts me in a panic since it's hard to run an internet business when you can't get online. I took the laptop to Starbucks and they said that I can't connect unless I'm subscribed to T-Mobile's $30/month service plan?!?!?! Uh...Yeah...I'm going to pay $30/month to look at the internet at Starbucks

    I ended up driving around the neighborhood until I found an unsecured wireless network to use...

    Stupid T-Mobile...

    I think airports have also hotspots you can use, and libraries too.

    or around my house - i used to be able to connect to 6 at one time (including a hotel quite far away - but im on a hill and using some bad mother ant. for both receive and send (dual 16dB gain ant. - works about 10km away just fine) .. now i can connect to only 3 as people are starting to use WEP
