After 3 DVD-writers and about 15 blank DVD-RWs and DVD+RWs I found out why my DVDs weren't working in my Thomson DTH 311 (E).
Apperently the WinASPI files were corrupt and downloading the latest from Adeotec allowed my to use DVD-RWsm, burned at 1X speed to be played flawlessly.
I had used the LG 4040B, LG 4169D and the Piondeer DV108. I had tried every single blank I could find from brand name to no name but the ASPI did th trick.
This fixed with Win98SE and WinXP HOME.
My player is very picky and still dosn't like DVD+RWs but at least DVD-RWs work
Jst FYI....
