  1. I am brand new to DVD MovieFactory but I am not knew to Ulead's products. I have a quick question.

I have a dvd I am creating that has 5 clips. When I put these into DVD-MF it makes 2 pages with one of the buttons on a seperate page. How to do I get that button on the first page with the others?

I have resized all the buttons so there is plenty of room.

I have tried to copy it, cut it, move it. What don't I know?

    Thanks for the help

A person in another forum posted almost the exact question (word for word) except they replaced DVD MovieFactory with DVD Workshop.

Are you the same person? If so, which program are you using? DVD MovieFactory, or DVD workshop?

  3. It wasn't me. This is the first time I am posting regarding Ulead DVD-MF.

  4. Start with a menu template that has 5 items.

That's a cooincidence. The following post was made at DMNForums.com (in the DVD Workshop forum)

Maybe someone wanted to ask the same question over there???

If not the same person, a copy and paste. Identical wording right down to the spelling mistake (knew when he means new). If it is the same person, what have you got to hide?

To answer the question, no matter whether you are using Workshop or MovieFactory, create the menu from scratch or start with a pre-defined one with more than 5 buttons and delete the unused ones.

    Agreed

I only asked so that I could better answer the question (I don't care if it's the same person or not -- I just wanted to be able to give all the options based on the actual software being used).

I replied to the post in the other forum (where I am a moderator), then I was surprised to see the "identical" post here (only about DVD MovieFactory instead of DVD Workshop).

  8. Sorry guys. That was me. When you said "A person in another forum" I clicked on your links and they took me to another forum at this website and I did not see anything that resembled my post.

Anyway yes I did post at DMN but did not get an anwer there so I remembered this is a very active forum so I reposted here.

I did not realize that was a problem as I also posted on the Ulead forums. But at this point the only answers I gotten so far are from here.

I thought of that but for some reason I am not showing any templates with more than 4 buttons.

But what if I had more than 5 clips. Is there no way to do this without an already created template?

    I will keep looking thanks.

    No problem

Actually, the "links" in my post weren't put there by me. The site automatically makes links for some software titles (look at your original post -- I bet you didn't add that link to DVD Moviefactory in your post).

Which version of MovieFactory are you using? 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, 4.x (and Full, SE, Trial, etc...)?

The Trial versions don't often come with all of the regular templates. But you should be able to "customize" the templates, and then change the number of thumbnails on the menu by selecting the appropriate layout.
