  1. Hi, sorry if this question has been asked before but I havn'e had internet access for some time. Is it possible to backup movies if the io error message appears.

  4. I've had io errors when trying to decrypt some movies and i'm also getting them when i'm trying to read ps2 games. Off the top of my head the last few dvds that have had the problem is Hitch, layer cake and resident evil.

    gav223, You wont get any useful help if you dont bother to read the replies and give the appropriate answers.

    People at this forum will gladly give advice and can only do so if you give the correct information, after all as you can see nobody's crystal ball appears to be working very well at the moment ?!

    Tell us what PROGRAM you are using and what the ERRORS are that you receive, then you may find help will be more forthcoming

    What program are you using to decrypt?
    What version of the program are you using?
    What I/O error are you getting?

    Post a screen shot of the precise error you are getting and we can start helping you.

  7. The software i'm using is dvd decrypter and its up to date. I'm trying to read a ps2 game and after 24% the error is as follows.

    I/O Error

    Device: [1:0:0] NU DVDRW DDW-081 BX32 (E

    ASPI SRB Status :0x04
    Interpretation: SRB Completed with Error

    Host Adapter Status: 0x00
    Interpretation: Host Adapter did not Detect An Error

    Target Status: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 28 00 00 08 9C 62 00 00 01 00
    Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 564322

    Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 02 03 04 05
    Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error.

    For PS2 games why dont you try CloneCD,Alcohol120% or Blindwrite

    Update: Cant people cool off and stop picking at gav223,thats not helpful now is it.
