i may me behind the times but i am in the market for a continuos ink suppy system. but after reading some of the posts they seem to be hit or miss (leaking etc.) while searching on ebay i came across this. If anyone has one or used one your opinion will be appreciated. so let me know what you think

  2. Looks nice but they only supply four carts for the continuos refill? My Epson R200 takes 6 carts I believe.

If you click the link, it shows the R200/R300 with six carts. I have it, and it works well. The only downside is that you only get 50ml of ink instead of the 100/110 other CIS's come with. But you don't have six unsightly tubes sticking to the side of your printer.

I bought these carts after having problems with an ozmods kit. They work pretty well. I especially like the fact they do not have tubes running out of the printer. I purchased these from colorbat. The only problem I see with these is that they have sponges in them. Colorbat has some new carts like these but without any sponges. They may work better.

I will admit I have yet to need new ink for it. Not sure where I get it or how much it costs.

Hey depressd, that's pretty good site and has about all you would need for any Epson printer, a bit high for the good chips, but he does have them. He sounds like a contrarie old fart though. If you go there, you could spend hours reading about his rants and life beliefs. LOL
    Thanks

  11. Can someone give me more info on colorbat? Is it a website or a ebay id? I am very interested in the spongeless carts.

    Thanks

Ya'll remember now that those carts from colorbat.com may not include auto-reset chips...those chips he sells are $15 each...I've had a few dealings with Nick...He's a good guy....It's a mom and pop buisness...OH! And those spongeless carts look great.
Is what we learn indeed a fact, or someones opinon?
