where has nero burning rom gone

hi folks..heres what happened,i had to have my hd wiped recently and i am just getting back to normal,i got nero with my dvd burner and took the free updates, thing is i had nero burning rom SE and now i have'nt ,can someone tell me how to retreive it need it for burning cd's..thanks in advance E.H.

It's on the Nero CD that was included with your burner. It's the CD you originally installed Nero from, remember?

hiya drj...havent got disc, the guys that installed my dvd burner never returned it ,that was before christmas no point in going back looking for it now,i would appreciate any other thoughts on the matter.E.H.

I''m afraid you'll have to buy an OEM CD instead.

Just ask anyone with a burner, it comes bundled with most burners, so there are plenty of disks out there. You just have to use your own serial number to
1. Be legal
2. The bundled ones are locked to your burner brand, and it is unlikely your mates will be the same brand.

If you've lost your serial number put your hand in your pocket and buy a new copy.

good thinkin pyscrow...serial number is in the start up window,will i be able to download the burning rom on it's own coz i have everything else..nve3. . nmp..etc,don't really want to d/load all those bundles.E.H.

sorry guy's i have'nt be to clear at all with this..i have nero, what i am missing is.... open nero start smart on the left there is a list of applications..
nero express
nero vision express
nero back it up
etc
etc
etc..
what isnt there any more is nero burning rom SE which when opened allows you to click and drag video ts or audio ts folders over to convert and burn to disc,i do have a serial number,i've looked in nero.com but im just not sure what im looking for...apologies once again for the bum steer..E.H.

Look in the Nero Directory, it'll be there, (Nero.exe) you just need to make your own shortcut. Either that or when you open Nero Express click on the Nero Button at the bottom (this becomes tedious, make your own shortcut)
