I have the DVD How the Grinch Stole Christmas and it is full screen. i have made a VCD but the quality was not that great... Can someone tell me what i should set the settings to when making the VCD to make it look nice and prettyi use smart Ripper dvdtoAVi and TMPGen to encode thanks a lot.

What Template did u use with TMPEGnc??
i used Seffys, and my backup copy works/looks great!!!

My copy is mint!! used dvdx & it turned out better than when it was ripped with flask & tmpeg!! as DVDx is one little program all U need is a ripper & then open the ifo file in dvdx & away U go.... No probs & the audio can be made louder!! very nice finished product!

Change the source aspect ratio to 16:9 Pal/NTSC in TMPGenc settings/advanced.... download sefy's templates (This site - Tools section) Load sefy's 'SEVCD-Basic Template' (I think its better quality than standard VCD) change the audio in TMPGenc - settings/audio to 160kb bit rate and finaly.... TMPGenc - settings/advanced - source range.... chop the credits off and it will burn under Nero as a non standard vcd to an 80 CDR.
