    Hi All,

I pride myself on my research ability but, try as I might, I cannot seem to find a source (quick shipping) of materials necessary to CREATE A MULTI-PAGE DVD BOOKLET (not a cover insert).

I already have a 10-disc DVD case for the project (I'll be putting CD's in it), I've got the artwork for the front/back covers BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO MY LINER NOTES without putting together a multi-page (at least 8 to 12 pages) for this project.

Can someone help me, please? This is a long-planned (but too often put off) gift for my daughter (it's a rock guitar history project) that just has to be ready for Christmas morning!!!

I'm not sure if you reply on the forum or to my regular email (ctraynor@aol.com) but, if you can, PLEASE TYPE FAST!!!

Again, looking to source the right paper materials (glossy would be good - I do have a color laser printer) and, also, if you have some tips on how to do this right (and efficiently). I'll be making more than just one copy but hers matters the most!!!

    THANKS A MILLION!

Doing a Google search, I found glossy color laser paper, glossy color laser brochure paper and glossy color laser presentation paper. These are apparently coated on both sides. This is just provided as an example of what I found: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Color-Laser-Paper-Glossy-8-1-2-x-11-300-Pack/product_63...=StaplesSearch

Brochure paper is heavier than the others and could be used for the booklet's cover, if you want it to be stiffer. I don't know which brand/product is the best, because I have never used any glossy color laser paper. Ask for help at the office supply store.

This link tells how to set up a booklet in newer editions of Word. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/create-a-folded-booklet-HP003072950.aspx. This one has directions for publsher: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher-help/set-up-and-print-a-letter-sized-bookl...010211672.aspx If you don't have MS Word or MS Publisher, there are probably other choices.

I haven't printed a booklet in years and have forgotten quite a bit. The only hints I can think of are: If you want to use different paper for the cover, make a separate document for it. Test print the booklet on regular paper to check your work.

All that is actually necesssary for a location here is USA/United States. Posting your real name, primary email address, and home town anywhere is unwise. You would be surprised how little information is needed for someone to cause trouble. Don't make it easy for them. I was crammed (had bogus charges added to my phone bill for a service that I did not subscribe to) earlier this year based on someone obtaining my name, phone number, and an email address from an ISP account that had been closed for years.

Edit your post and your member profile accordingly.

HP Brochure Paper is 48 lb and HP Everyday Photo Paper(the thinnest Hp Photo Paper) is 45 lb......HP Brochure paper is pretty thin....but still one of my favorites.
