Hi. Can someone please tell me if there is a noticeable difference in blank DVD +R or -R media? I ask because my old player only played -Rs, so I have a bunch or them left. The newer player is ablr to play both types of media. Thanks for any info.

I have my favorite (-R), but there are merits to both camps, and by now it should be obvious to most here that they're both good and both selling well. That war is over.
What you should worry about is compatibility with players you (and maybe your friends & relatives) have.
If you are gonna keep your old player, stick with -R.
If you're moving on to just the newer player, go with whatever sells better in your area.
