I recently bought a Sony RDR HX-710. I am not that good at electronics but by using the guide I downloaded I was able connect my noos tv decoder and another dvd player. so i am using an s video cable and rca cables to connect player to recorder. It seems that I can copy dvds by using tv now. Basically recorder captures anything that is on tv.What I want to learn is, can I duplicate dvds using by these 2 devices? It has a built in harddisk. In the guide it says that I can not copy dvdvideos from its own dvd drive to its harddisk, so does anyone know how can I do that by using Panasonic player? thanks for all the help

This won't help you using your hardware but if you have a computer with a DVD burner, you can use DVD Decrypter .

Thanks for the answer, so are u saying that it is impossible to duplicate any dvd without the help of a PC?
