    Hi,

If its already mpeg2 than it is in dvd format. Just load the mpg file into the dvd authoring program.

It will tell you if you its not to spec. If it isn't use tmpgenc plus to correct the file to the proper specs.

If it's 2 CDs and MPEG-2 then it's more than likely SVCD, which isn't DVD-compliant. Use the latest GSpot beta (2.52 I think) to check out the resolution, video bitrate, frame rate and audio type and see if they match the descriptions listed at www.videohelp.com/svcd . If not, post either them or a screendump from what GSpot tells you back here and we'll work out what you've got.

If it is SVCD, then try https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129786 for some advice.
    If in doubt, Google it.
