  1. I am on vacation at my mom's and she has a mac computer. I need to burn a file which is about 750MB and make it into a Data Disk. I need to bring it to my computer at home but the blank CDR I bought are too small for the file to be burnt to a disk? Anyone know a easy way to transfer the file in a easier way like:

A Mac Program that spilts avi
or any other way. What suggestions do you all have to help me out, Thanks

FFmpegX splits avis......that should do the trick. Other than that you can use yousendit.com and upload the file, then download it when u get back home. Either way it works.

Explicit is a good avi cutter.
ffmpegX hides the cutter under the Filters tab.

For a seamless re-attachment of the parts later on, you may be saver with a general binary file splitter, such as the OS X built-in split and cat (in the Terminal), or the GUI Split&Concat. Output should be compatible with most decompressing tools as well as Concatenater.
