I would like to make a HD Dvix file above 720x480 res to play back on a DVDR in HD.
I read the manual on the Linkplayer2 and it said the max bitrate is 1.5m but not the Max resolution for playback for Dvix files.
My question is will the Linkplayer2 play a Dvix file from a DVDr above 720x480 in HD?
thanx in advance,
Chas

Hi-
My question is will the Linkplayer2 play a Dvix file from a DVDr above 720x480 in HD?
Yes. It'll play resolutions up to 1080i and 720p. Also, it handles bitrates much in excess of 1,500. I don't know for sure, but it has to be 6,000 or more. Otherwise it wouldn't be much good at playing back Hi-Def files. -
According to the DivX webpage, the player supports 720p and higher. They also list the bitrate at 720p at 4MBs.
