Guys, I have a Dell 4400 and the monitor went out on me about two weeks ago. My best friend is allowing me to use a monitor that he had put away.
The monitor that he's allowing me to use is an older version ViewMate (White)
Now when I connected the monitor, It turned on and works fine, but the Screen looks like it has a green shade pulled over it. I tried adjusting the setting on the monitor and the computer to see if I could resolve this issue, but couldn't come up with anything.
So I had come to the conclusion that it was a compatibility issue, until later that day. I'd arrived from the store and the screensaver was on, so when I moved the mouse and the monitor came back on and found that the greenish look wasn't there until about 2-3sec later; the greenish cloud filled the screen starting from the top filtering its way to the bottom.
Below I save a pic of the monitor with and without the green screen so you could see what I'm reffering to. Right now I can't tell the difference between the two because of the green screen.

Although this monitor is only temporary, this green cloud is annoying and irritating.
I hope someone can shed some light on this issue.

You say it looks normal? Please verify. Are the pictures in the two links the same. You don't see a greenish looking cloud that covers the monitor?

Sorry, but I fail to see any greenish cloud. They both look similar.
The best option to verify this would be to use a plain wallpaper, for example a plain white wallpaper. Its difficult to tell with your current wallpaper as half of it is already green. -
Look the same to me too. If the monitor was displaying the same image differently it won't show up on a screenshot. For example if you turned the turned the brightness all the way up the images your seeing will be all washed out, but if you took a screenshot and sent it to someone and they viewed on there monitor it will look normal.

Perhaps you have a ICC profile from the previous monitor? That could cause what you are experiencing.
If you go to Display, Properties, Settings tab, click on the Advanced button, and select the Color Management tab - are there any Color Profiles listed? If so, you should remove them.
