    Hey gang,

    I'm using Vegas 5 to edit my DV-AVI's and I want to simply super-impose a date and time at the beginning of each clip. Does anyone know of a quick quide to do this with Vegas or briefly step-out the instructions?

    Bottom left corner - look for a media generator tab (or similar - it's not in front of mean at the moment). There should be one called Text. Use this to create you overlay, then position it. Make sure you have the title safe and action safe areas shown.
