    The problem is when i used win avi to connect two avi togther to form a dvd chapters. The dvd is inreadable or it skips the first or the second avi. If i try to connect the avi together before i use win avi it is unreadable.

    Many, many, many, many, many guides on AVI to DVD found under CONVERT left.
    Basically: encode each AVI to DVD compliant mpg first, author with TDA as 2 parts of the same title, remove chapter point at join. Done
