I've got a weird problem to do with the power/turning on/off the dvd recorder.
Sometimes to get it to work, I have to unplug it from the back, wait for it to say "POWER OFF" on the display. and then keep on pressing the power button on the front of the player, until it switches on. If I can get it switched on though, the fan at the back kicks in and everything is fine.
The main problem comes when turning of the unit.
The fan stops, and the clock display comes on, now sometimes after a while, the fan comes back on with the unit on standby. When you try and turn it back on, it wont, the fan is still on even though the unit is on standby, and the clock seems to stop completely, meaning the box has obviously crashed.
This is really bugging me at the moment, when it seems to freeze, if you press and hold the power button for a certain length of time, you get 5 beeps, and the player seems to reset itself. After doing this though, it STILL will not turn on without continuly pressing it after resetting it.
Anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it?
