  1. Is there anyway to make VDUB frameserver TMPGEnc 3.0 Xpress. I get "File not supported" error as soon as I start encoding. I went through the earlier posts couldn't find the solution anywhere.

    thanks,

Have you run and installed auxsetup in the Vdub directory or maybe used a registry cleaner, it maybe nessacary to reinstall auxsetup. I use TMPGEnc 2.5 plus and once had similar problems but after reinstalling auxsetup it resolved the issue for me.

  3. Yes, I have installed auxsetup. It seems to work with TMPGEnc 2.5 but not with 3.0. Funny thing is it doesn't give error when in the beginning. You edit and cut the video. But as soon as you start encoding it gives error. I did check few posts here with about the same error. I followed all the steps mentioned in those discussions, articles. But nothing seems to work. It is very frustrating.

Tmpeg Xpress doesn't work with frameserving for some reason. I have tried it as well. I hope Pegasys will correct this as I'd like to use filters in Vdub and frameserve to Tmpeg Xpress to save time. If someone has figured out a way to make it work, don't keep it to yourself

Hmmm interesting. Yet another good reason to give TMPGEnc XPress a wide berth and stay with the proven v2.5!
