  1. I have an ilo dvd recorder in which I have recorded shows into dvd now I want to make copies using dvd decrypter and it does not let me it gives an error saying that the format is not supported? it shows as a dvd_vr.iso please let me know what can I do.

    I am not familiar with your machine so I can only make a general comment. VR MODE discs are not compatible with most standalone players, and I suspect this information is somewhere in the owners manual. For everyday use, you should set your recorder to VIDEO MODE. (This will ensure maximum compatiblity of your discs with other machines and DVD Decrypter.)

    Hopefully someone will have some advice to convert your existing VR discs.

    My Philips discs show up as DVD_VR in everything I use and they rip and copy perfectly.

    Great link above. Other programs that I know support vr authoring are dvd-lab and ulead dvd workshop($$$) or dvd moviefactory. On some systems the vro files need to be extracted first with isobuster pro.
