    When trying to rip Cats and Dogs DVD using Smartripper I keep getting errors on a blue screen stating

    WINDOWS PRETECTION ERROR - PLEASE RESTART COMPUTER.

    Is this protection on the DVD or a system problem

    Any info is appreciated.

    Has it worked before, I use to get the same error with the newer versions of smartripper with windows ME, I had to use an older version, when I went to windows XP the problem went away, you can also try cladDVD or vstrip.

    I ripped this movie using SmartRipper 2.39 & Windows ME with no problems at all
