    i need to know how to play part of a clip in fast forward with sony vegas 6.0

    If your asking about viewing in the preview window.

    Use your keyboard's J, Kand L keys.

    The arrow keys will give you frame advance and reverse.

    Press L to play forward
    Press k to stop
    Press J to play backward.

    Multiple key presses will increase the speed for the L and J keys playback.

    i mean in the actualy movie

    for example theres a guy running a race and i want it to played in fastforward in the actual movie because its boring and then say slow down as the man would finish the race
