    HI, I was wondering if anyone would know if I can make a DVD with a menu, but with UNCONVERTED AVI files? I just want to file copy them over, not convert to dvd format. Converting to DVD has always produced quality loss for me, and I would like to avoid that if at all possible.

    I know my Philips dvp642 will show a menu, but I would like my own, if possible.

    Never going to happen. avi simply doesn't support menu's. Closest would be the .divx container which is based/hacked on avi.
