  1. Hi, everyone. my question is kind of different from what's being disccused here. however, i want to make copies of my favorite dvd movies to vhs tapes.

i have a dvd rom, and a tv tuner(ati tv wonder)card, a vcr hooked up to the tv tuner card, is there a way to utilize these two hardwares to achieve my purpose? or do i need any other hardware?

    thank you very much,

  4. hi. everyone.

it's unclear to me that how you can record a dvd movie from a dvd rom through a tv tuner card to a vhs tape, because i cannot find a output signal to the vcr.

  5. A Tv tuner card can't output to VHS tape, you need to use a TV out, that hopefully came on your graphics card.

  7. if you have a sound card, then there are converters where u can convert normal headphone jack (from sound card) to RCA audio (on your TV)

so basically u need separate cables for video and audio
