Toshiba xs 34...how to edit recording info

I want to archive programs from my DirecTivo onto my new Toshiba xs 34 DVDR. Only the date/time is on each thumbnail....i cannot figure out how to edit it so that i can tell what the program is and when it was originally recorded. Can anyone help me out?

Of course you can edit the title information and even change the thumbnail pictures to help you identify each title and chapter, you just need to read the manual carefully. Refer to page 143 of the operations manual on editing title information, and page 100 on creating thumbnails for each title.

Toshiba models have probably the most tweakable options and can be quite complicated for some users. Therefore reading the manual carefully is a must to fully appreciate its many functions.

Thank you. The manual is a bit hard to follow due to the translation issue.
Lets also not forget that the Toshiba Tech said that this could not be done. When i doubted her knowledge she got a bit pissy. Anyway....one more question....anyway to list the library by descripotion only and do away with the thumbnails? I looked in the manual...couldn't see it.
