I thought that The One's story didnt live up to the fancy shmancy effects.Yeah they were somewhat amazing, but you just couldnt really accept them. And with a completely crappy story, well it just sucked. The Matrix however, had one great story and well, kicks The One's ass!
What do you guys think? The Newbie,or The Oldie(not that old).

Hey guys,
Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. I prefer The Matrix over The One. In my humble opinion, The Matrix had several things going for it. It had an original storyline, great acting (Lawrence Fishburne is so underrated) and cutting edge effects which helped to usher in a new genre of films in the US. However, please keep in mind that the moves and certain special effects were based on Jet Li and his movies in the past. This was admitted by the Wachowskis in a production piece about The Matrix. By the way, has anyone seen that blatant, crappy rip-off of The Matrix called Invincible with Billy Zane on TBS. What a piece of @#$%!
P.S. I have ripped both The Matrix and The Matrix Revisited and authored them to a DVD-R.

yup invincible suks ass it was too short and not alot of action i thought it would be a great movie whan i saw the commercial but when they showed the full movie it sukked ass
-
Yeah I remember that movie. What a wonderful POS that was,and with billy zane? BILLY ZANE?? Who make's these movies? Im guessing its the same guy who made Glitter.
-
Hey don't dis billy zane. Although that movie did suck. And the one kicked ass. Not as much as the matrix, partly because the one was a rip off, but it still killed. ANd you have to realize something:
Jet li is the man. That's about it. I'll bet he could easily beat the shit out of Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburn. Bet he could beat up Jackie Chan too. That brings me to an interesting question:
Who would win in a fight- the one or Agent Smith (and I mean Jet Li not Neo)? -
JACKIE CHAN would kick Jet Li's ass ANY DAY.ANY FREAKING DAY! JET LI IS A WANNABE JACKA CHAN.Oh and BTW,if JAcka chan would be in "The One" instead of that wanna be jet li,the movie would have been so much more successful! ALOT MORE!
P.S
JET LI SUCKS!
P.P.S
BILLY ZANE SUCKS TOO!

No way. Jackie Chan would try to kick Jet Li's ass and then he'd slip on a banana peel or get drunk or something. Jet Li could kick his ass. And he could beat the shit out of those guys from Crouching Tiger, too.
I want to die in my sleep like my father, not like his passengers. -
Yo Sween,
It wasn't my intent to diss Billy but you gotta admit that was some horrible acting and scriptwriting they did for his character. It was too apparent that they tried to make him a Morpheus clone. (And no one can be Morpheus except Fishburne.)You do raise an interesting question though. I think Agent Smith would beat The One (Jet Li). Speaking of The One, I got a kick out of the end when he was trying to fight off those other inmates. Oops, I shouldn't have said "end"! LMAO!
As for VCDsMakeMoney, Jackie Chan may one or two licks in but Jet Li would still kick his ass. LOL! Have you ever seen Fist Of Legend? Damn, that movie rocked!

You know,..
as much as i like Jackie Chan and i mean i've seen all of his movies and own quite a few of them, i'll have to disagre with you!Yes Jackie Chan knows martial arts, yes he did invent 4 or 5(not sure exactly how many, but atleast 4)
different kung-fu styles ,but...
But Jackie Chan and most of his supporting actors thruout his movie career came from a place caled Hong-Kong Movie-Theatrical Accademy where they were tought how to act the kung-fu moves that they made.Plus the special fighting scenes that he does(yes they are real, no doubt about it),it is all staged! And in later work, he did include real martial arts technics wich he had learned from various sensei's including Bruce Lee.Jackie is from Hong-Kong (where those beat-em up's were extreamly popular in the late 70's.As for Jet Lee he is a China natural, raised and studied with monks in Shao-Lin he has the true Kung-Fu knowlege from the beggining of his movie career i meant before his career. You shoul try checking out Once upon a time in China 1 - 2 or 3 some of his very early work to name a few.
They are both great at what they do , and yet so different to compare. My own oppinion ofcorse.
Just thought some background history would help....
Speed Costs Money , How Fast Do U Want To Go? -
Giving Jackie Chan juust enough alcohol gives him power. "Drunken Master". Good flick.
