    hi there,

    My DVD has subtitles which are not properly synchronized. I ripped the .IFO, .VOB files(pertaining to a few chapters of my choice from the DVD) onto the HDD using the DVD Decrypter software.

    Now, I want to edit and synchronize this section of the movie with the subtitles. Pls suggest a software(s) which can edit & later synchronize the subtitles and finally update my .IFO and .VOB files.

    You might try Subtitle Workshop. Also there is now a Subtitle Forum here that should be able to answer some of your questions.
