I didnt know where to post this so here it goes...

Im trying to burn 6 AVI movies onto a DVD-R(4.7GB)(Roco) as data files of course. I use Nero 6 and when I do it Nero brings up some message about multitasking. So I allow mutitasking and then it burns and burns....oh so I thought! When it completes, nothing was written to the DVD! The DVD is still blank

    Anyone know whats going on?

Please include additional info, such as have you burned other DVDs ok, your DVD burner name, Burner firmware version, and the version of Nero. You should also check your DMA setting (http://www.mrbass.org/dvdnewbie/).
Some days it seems as if all I'm doing is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic

Make sure you do not have it set to just simmulate the burn. It might sound stupid but that happened to me once.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

  4. Is there simulation option on Nero6? If so, is it unchecked?

Are you using the InCD packet writing software (that lets you drag-and-drop with a CD/DVD like a giant floppy)? I seem to recall that message when you format a new RW DVD.
