Hello all, this is my first post although I've been doing some video capturing for some time. I'm building a new rig for capturing, and I have a PC question about PCI-X speeds.
I have an Osprey 230 PCI-X card for capture and a RocketRaid PCI-X SATA controlelr for my striped scratch drive. I obviously capture to my stripe for space purposes since the SS drive is not usually big enough.
Both support bus speeds of 100/133, but I only have one slot at 133 and three slots at 100.
Would I be better off putting the capture card or the controller card in the 133 slot, or have them both operate at 100?
